A rampaging Highland cow repeatedly tore fairy lights off a pub's Christmas tree over the festive period. See SWNS story SWSMcow. The free-roaming beast had punters in stitches on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, after yanking plugged in lights out of an outdoor tree and getting them tangled in its horns. It had done the same thing about a week before Christmas at Keel Row pub, Fionnphort, Isle of Mull, Inner Hebrides. The cow, nicknamed Blondie Junior, meandered towards the beach after spoiling the Christmas decor on December 24. Islanders are used to Highland cows barging into their gardens and nobody attempted to retrieve the lights. The pub was bought by the community earlier this year.
