This is the adorable moment a dog was reunited with a family who were forced to give him up when his original owner died NINE years ago.
Cute poodle Scrappy was adopted by gran Thelma Curzon two years before she died at the age of 84 in 2007.
At the time her family were unable to look after the pooch because of work commitments so the dog was sent to live with family friends.

But last week Nottingham City Council’s stray dogs team found the matted poodle, who was not wearing a collar, roaming around the streets and took him to the pound.
Incredibly, bosses were able to make contact with Mrs Curzon’s relatives because 12-year-old Scrappy was still microchipped to his original owner.
Adorable video footage captured the moment the dog went berserk as he recognised Mrs Curzon’s daughter and granddaughter during an emotional reunion on Tuesday (23/8).
Granddaughter Victoria Elliott, 27, who lives in Ruddington, Notts., said: “”My cousin still lives in my nana’s old house and she received a letter addressed to my mama saying Scrappy was in the pound.
“I rang the emergency line and we told them we wanted him back as we had no idea that he was being treated badly.
“At first it was really strange because he looked different. He came in and he didn’t come near us at first.
“But after a few minutes the penny dropped and he went bonkers.
“My nana would’ve been devastated to know how he was being treated but knowing he is back with us would make her so happy.”

The family last saw Scrappy nine years ago when they gave him away after Mrs Curzon, who lived in Clifton, Nottingham, passed away.
He is now setting up home with her daughter Paula Hill, 58, who lives in Silverdale, Nottingham, and has already made friends with her 13-year-old Staffie Missy.
Victoria added: “We lost contact with the family and as far as we knew they were taking good care of him.
“We tried to look after him after she passed but everyone worked such long hours that it wasn’t fair on him.
“Now our circumstances have changed and he is able to live with my mother which is great.”

Senior community protection officer at Nottingham City Council’s stray dogs team Kimberley Hoe said: “We do not know if he was dumped but his coat was so matted that we had to cut all his fur down.
“When we took him home it took him a couple of seconds looking at them before he thought ‘I might know you’.
“It’s extra nice to see him back with his original family.”
