We all need a friend to be there for us when we’re struggling.
Having someone you know you can always count on can be a real blessing.
Especially for Hoshi, an American Eskimo pup from Washington, his best friend is not only a helping paw, but also his eyes and the reason he can enjoy every day of his life like a normal dog.

Hoshi became blind when at 11 years old he had to have his eyes removed due to glaucoma.
Luckily for the pooch his owners rescued Zen, a tiny Pomeranian, just six months before Hoshi’s operation.

The pair has quickly became inseparable and Zen has fully taken on his role as a guide dog.
The owner, Pauline Perez has set up the Instagram page the.fluffy.duo, where the adventures of the two friends can be fallowed by everyone.

The duo go swimming together, playing in the park, and cuddle up in bed together at night.
It’s the perfect example of how a best friend can lift your spirit and help you fully enjoy life.
