The animal was saved after members of the public reported seeing it walk down Long Lane, Attenborough on May 12. In a Facebook post, Broxtowe South Police, said: "It was time for Beeston PCSO Jones to swan into action following a call from a member of the public concerning a swan wandering around along the main road on Long Lane in Attenborough today."
