Meet the UK’s smallest dog – a fully-grown Chihuahua named Bibity Bobity Boo which stands at less than THREE INCHES high.

The tiny pooch weighs less than a bag of sugar and her size astonishes owners Ron and Susan Lingham, who don’t believe they’ve even seen a dog so small.
Retired teacher Ron, 67, said: “She’s so tiny, she just buries herself in my arms.
“I think she uses it to her advantage because it means she gets lots of kisses and cuddles.
“I look into her eyes and tell her she is a little gift sent from heaven.”

It’s believed Bibity Bobity Boo, who goes by names Boo, Bibi and Bobbykins, has undertaken the dog previously crowned the UK’s smallest dog, Tyson – a four inch Lhasa Apso cross Chihuahua who lives in Lincoln, Lincs. with owner Rosemarie McLinden.
She was very small from the day she was born six months ago.
“She wasn’t the runt of the litter but she’s always been tiny,” said Ron.
“Because she was so small we nearly named her ‘Bridget the midget’ but we thought she would get bigger and it wouldn’t make sense.
“Now it seems that name would have been more appropriate.”
She also measures eight inches in length and weighs a light 1lb 10oz, making her hard to keep an eye on.
Susan said: “We certainly have to keep an eye on her, she can be gone in a flash and because she’s so small she can be difficult to find.
“She’s very good at hide and seek.”
The couple from Blackpool, Lancs., admit that Bibity Bobity Boo’s size makes her a favourite in the household, despite them having nine other dogs fighting for their attention.
Ron said: “We’ve no family so our dogs are our children and we love them to bits.
“They get a lot of love and they’re happy little dogs.
“Dogs are pets for life and we give everything we have to them. Bibity Bobity Boo is the perfect addition to our family.”
