A lucky cat definitely used up a couple of his nine lives after it fell from the upper deck of a football stadium only to be saved – by the Stars and Stripes.

Victor Bermudez, 39, was filming the crowd at a sporting event on September 11th at Miami Gardens, FL, Hard Rock Stadium, when he spotted the cat dangling from the upper deck.

But the most spectacular action at the University of Miami-Appalachian State University football game on Saturday was the moment the cat fell.

The stadium held its breath, but the lucky kitty hit an outstretched American flag which managed to break it’s fall.

The stadium erupted into cheers and celebration as the lucky feline was shown to have survived unsctahed

Victor, Executive Producer of Miami Hurricanes Radio Network, said: “I couldn’t believe what I was watching at a sporting event.

“Sports fans are not just passionate about sports and their teams, but for the safety of others while attending their favorite teams sporting event.

“The American flag saves in all sorts of ways.”
