A self-confessed talentless artist paints these terribly hilarious pictures of people’s pets to raise money for a rescue centre.
Hayley England, 36, admits she can’t draw or paint and makes ”terrible” pictures of animals people send her.
She has painted awful portraits of chickens, lizards, cats, tortoises and dogs – to raise money for St Giles Animal Rescue, in Wrantage, Somerset.
Mum to Rita, seven and Ron, five, Hayley, from Taunton, Somerset, calls her project ‘Pretty Cruddy Pet Pics”
She said: “I am no artist I’m afraid. My drawings are terrible, so I am going to try and rope my kids into helping.
“My husband would help but says he’d get embarrassed. I’ve said to him the worse they look the better they are.”
Hayley, who owns both a photography and fudge company, was hoping to raise £300 via her JustGiving page – but is now hoping to raise even more.
“People send them to me via Facebook or WhatsApp and then I’m trying to get to get through as many as we can,” she added.
“We’ve done over 20 so far.
“This is just for fun. At no point will people receive for their donation a perfect portrait – as already stated, it will be pretty cruddy.”
