A tiny Yorkshire Terrier cross Chihuahua puppy was taken by heartless thieves after they broke into a family home.
Poor pup Scooby, aged just 11 months, was stolen by burglars along with his igloo-shaped dog bed, a laptop and a Tag Heuer watch.
Scooby, who is black and tan in colour and wears a red collar with a blue tag, was snatched after the crooks kicked in the front door of his owner’s home in West End near Woking, Surrey, on September 5.
Celebrities including on-off TOWIE couple Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks and Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson have retweeted posts about Scooby in a bid to have him safely returned.
Owner mum of two Maxine Ferrari, 50, said the family are ‘heartbroken’ at the loss of their beloved pet, who they have had since December.

The nursery day manager says she has no idea who could have taken Scooby, but is begging for his safe return.
Maxine said: “My son Connor came home last Tuesday at about 5:30pm and he saw that the gate to the big play pen we keep Scooby in was open.
“He’s tiny, so he stays in there during the day, but Connor thought I’d come home and taken him out for a walk.
“It was only when he went through to the lounge and saw that the lower half of the front door was kicked in that he realised what had happened and called me.
“I rushed straight home and they’d taken Scooby, his bed, and a really old Compaq laptop and bag which my other son Jed realised he’d left £40 in.
“It’s the dog which really matters, though – we’ve had him since December after our other dog Woody had to be put down aged 17.
“Woody was a Yorkshire Terrier, and he didn’t trigger Jed’s allergy, so we were looking for something similar.
“We decided to get a cross breed so he wasn’t exactly the same and brought him home.
“This time round, because the boys are older, it’s really been everybody’s dog – he’s been everyone’s puppy and we’re just all completely heartbroken.”
Maxine and sons Connor, 21, and Jed, 24, have offered a reward for the safe return of Scooby but have had no leads so far.
She says there has been a significant increase in crime in their peaceful village, with ‘seven or eight’ robberies in the last month.
Worryingly, the burglars had also unsheathed a film prop samurai sword kept in Jed’s room and dumped it in the hallway – suggesting they could have been planning to use it had someone been in.
Maxine says she ‘honestly doesn’t know’ who would have taken the dog or why, but says she is hoping he will be returned ‘no questions asked’.
She added: “No one has seen him, we’ve offered a reward but we just want someone, if they’ve got him, to ring up and tell us.
“There’ll be no questions asked, we just want him back.
“Was he targeted? I honestly don’t know where he could be.
“We couldn’t walk anywhere without people stopping saying he was cute so maybe someone saw me with him and followed us home.
“There have been lots of burglaries in our little village recently so the thieves could have just picked our house and happened to stumble across him.
“It was strange – they left our TVs and iPads, and there was a Macbook Air on the desk right next to Scooby, but nothing like that was taken.
“The police have been good but obviously we just want him back.”
