Vicky Liggins, 26, with her Mitsubishi Warrior that was damaged when a charging Rhino smashed into the vehicle, while with her 19 month old daughter Evelyn at West Midlands Safari Park. February 24, 2015. A young mum told yesterday (Tue) how a horn-y RHINO caused #500 of damage when it smashed into her car after mistaking it for a MATE. See NTI story NTIRHINO. Vicky Liggins, 26, feared for her life when the three tonne beast started charging towards her Mitsubishi Warrior. The white rhino caused #500 worth of damage in the horrifying attack by smashing a back light and crumpled the rear of the car as well as leaving dents to the driver’s side. A park ranger came to the rescue but incredibly the angry rhino even gave chase as Vicky drove away with her screaming 19-month-old daughter Evelyn in the car. West Midland Safari Park has now apologised to the bank worker and sent her £250 as a goodwill gesture. But yesterday (Tue), Vicky, from Halesowen, West Mids., blasted the attraction and said bosses should erect barriers to prevent rhinos wandering in front of vehicles.
