A horse breeder was left all shook up – when he spotted Elvis Presley’s FACE on his pony’s neck.
Alan O’Reilly, 36, noticed the likeness on his Piebald Cob Dolly as he scrolled through his phone over breakfast a few weeks ago.
Thinking he was losing the plot, he shared the image on social media – where family, friends and strangers said they could also see the King of Rock and Roll.
Alan, from Dublin, says the ‘face’ occurs naturally in the horse’s hair but he hadn’t noticed it before as the area was covered by the mane.
And he says the five-year-old pony has recently taken to rubbing her longer hair off on fences – revealing the image of Elvis.
Alan said: “I’m a bit spiritual and I just think it’s a miracle. He’s one of the greats, and his face has appeared on a horse. I think that says it all.
“I’m certain he had a hand in that. Once you’ve seen it it’s so obvious – it’s so weird. It just looks so like him.”
Elvis, who died in 1977, was known to love horses, keeping many on his Graceland ranch in Memphis.
Dad-of-one Alan, who keeps more than 40 horses near his home in Ireland, said he’s from a family of Elvis fans – and that Dolly has now been renamed Mrs Presley.
He said he would ideally like Elvis’ family to buy the horse – but he would sell to the right fan.
Alan said: “I think Elvis Presley wants us to make money selling her and he wants her to be the most famous horse in the world.”
