A reveller has proved just how much he loves his favourite nightclub – by having its logo tattooed on his leg.
Single Dan McGowan, 21, can’t get enough of the Missoula nightclub in Chelmsford, Essex, despite visiting every weekend.
But after getting reminiscent of the venue while on a lads’ holiday in Malia, Greece, he spent 50 euros having a permanent reminder inked on his right calf.
Dan, a financial administration worker, said: “I think they play the best music in Chelmsford and we always have a good time there so I just thought ‘why not’.
“I was a bit drunk but I wasn’t so smashed I didn’t know what I was doing. I just thought it would be a really funny thing to do.
“The guy doing the tattoo had no idea what I was going on about so he had to Google Missoula so he knew what the logo looked like.”
Missoula were so impressed with his commitment, they’ve offered to lay on VIP treatment for him the next time he visits.
“This Missoula tattoo is actually my third one,” said Dan, from Great Leighs, Essex.
“My first two were also from holidays abroad. I went to Ayia Napa in 2014 and 2015 and the first time I went I got a small elephant on the right side of my bum.
“Then when I went back the following year I got ‘MOLO’ tattooed in pretty much the same place.
“It was around the time that the YOLO (you only live once) craze was happening, so I thought I’d change it to ‘McGowan only lives once’.
