A family left out of pocked by failed travel agent Lowcostholidays received a mocking email from the firm saying: “hehehe…this company is full of s**t.”

Ashlie Sefton, 22, and her partner James Quinn, 29, forked out £1,300 for an all-inclusive week in Gran Canaria with their daughter Rosie, three.

After hearing about the company going into administration – and that their hotel hadn’t been paid for – the couple sent an email to customer services asking for help.

But they were astonished when they got a reply from customer service which said: “Bless you.”

Minutes later they got another which urged them to sue company bosses and added: “Hehehe….another naive tourist….this company is full of shit.

“They don’t pay for hotels, they don’t pay salaries to employees and you want you money back??

“Go to court and sue Roger Parks and Paul Evans as they are the cheaters….”

Ashlie, a full time mum, and James, a pipe fitter, paid for the holiday in full in October last year, and were due to jet off later this week.

They claim they only found out the holiday hadn’t been paid for by Lowcostholidays when they got an email from the airport transfer company on Friday night.

Furious Ashlie emailed customer relations asking for an explanation and was shocked to get the apparently mocking reply from the official company email account on Saturday.

It urged her to take action against company CEO Paul Evans and group HR manager Roger Parks.

Ashlie, from Hornchurch, Essex, who has been forked out more money to re-book the holiday, said: “I was shocked – really, really shocked.

“I was so angry I could barely put it into words.

“It was the worst feeling in the world feeling like they were laughing at people that they took money off of.

“There is clearly no remorse whatsoever.

“I was really really angry as they were laughing and I had a three-year-old who was looking forward to going on holiday.”
