A brilliant series of photos show the world’s fastest selfie being taken where people are blasted in the face with 270MPH WINDS.
The ‘High Speed Selfie’ booth saw thousands of people across the country blasted with the equivalent of one G, bending and contorting their faces into odd shapes.
Rolled out in Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham, it had some hilarious results.
It was the brainchild of photography company #Hashtag (www.hashtag.co.uk) who teamed up with broadband provider Virgin Media.
A Virgin Media spokesperson said: “We wanted people to experience true speed as we cable millions of homes with our ultrafast network.
“When we combined breath-taking speeds and Britain’s love of selfies, the High Speed Selfie booth was the natural fit. The booth is a real hit.”
Joanne Buckingham tried out the booth in Nottingham.
The 45-year-old, from Stapleford, Notts., said: “We got off the train and saw it and thought what a way to start a Monday morning. It certainly woke us up and blew away the cobwebs!”
Daughter Melissa Buckingham, 21, added: “It was fast – extremely fast in fact! It was a lot of fun though, and made us smile.”
