This was the terrifying scene after a woman went to the loo at work – and three huge deadly monitor LIZARDS crashed through the CEILING.
Thanyamol Srisan (corr), 42, fled screaming when she opened the door and the aggressive reptiles – one up to two metres long – began rampaging through the room.
She said the killers were screeching and fighting with each other like a ‘horrifying scene from Jurassic Park’.
Rescuers grappled with the creatures for two hours before bringing them under control.
Worker Thanyamol said: ‘The lizards fell through the roof. They were running around the toilet and fighting with each other.
‘It was terrifying and the noises coming from them were hideous.
“It was like the movie Jurassic Park. It’s not what you expect when going to the toilet.
‘Everyone in the building was scared. We had to all go outside and wait for the emergency services to come and fight them.
‘I’m always a little nervous when I go to the toilet now. I have to open the door slowly and peer inside to see what’s there.’
Experts caught the smaller metre long Monitor lizards first and strapped their mouths shut.
But it took another hour for a team of four men to catch the bigger reptile as it resisted capture – lunging at the men with its giant teeth.
They eventually reined it with a lasso and pinned it down by tying it to several stakes and then roping its legs and feet together and clamping its mouth shut.
The three Monitor lizards were later released into the wild several miles from the factory in Chachoengsao province, Thailand.
Monitor lizards are common in Thailand and are the world’s second-heaviest lizard after the Komodo dragon.
They have long powerful necks and claws perfect for hunting small animals but have been known to attack humans if provoked or cornered.
