A young mother was left stunned after ordering a phone gadget on e-Bay – and getting HEROIN in the post.
The woman spent £2.99 on a shock-proof glass screen protector for an i-Phone on the online auction site.
But when she opened the package she discovered found a bag of what appears to be heroin inside, which came in a silver wallet marked ‘H1’.
e-Bay say it has launched an urgent probe and will suspend the seller.
But the mother of two, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she called in the police as she was mostly worried for her four and seven-year-old children’s safety.

She said: “I was completely spun out all day after I found it – it’d been just sat with the post for three days until I could find a quiet time to sort my phone.
“It’s a bit worrying when you’ve got kids. I’m just nervous it being in the house with two children to be honest – the sooner they (the police) take it away, the better.
“My kids are good as gold and wouldn’t go opening the post but it is worrying – there’s always a risk. Especially if a teenager got their hands on it perhaps.
“We’ll have to be a lot more careful now.”
The online seller states that his products are new but says items are opened and checked before sending as “sometimes stock becomes damaged,”
They have a 99.3% positive feedback score having sold to almost 7,000 buyers.

The mother, of Plymouth, Devon, said: “I think the person who’s sold it was completely oblivious because he/she wrote on their online account that they open and check all of the goods they sell to make sure they haven’t been broken in transit.
“I just thought what are these extra packages? I opened it and ran out to my husband saying ‘oh my god look what I’ve just found.
“I don’t know why he didn’t check and find it but maybe the H1 writing was on the other side of the packet and he didn’t notice or just didn’t think anything of it.
“I buy and sell a lot online but I’ve never come across anything like this before.”
The woman’s husband, who also wishes to stay anonymous, added: “You just don’t expect to find that in your post.
“I Googled heroin and the image looked really similar to what we had in front of us.
“The police asked me to bring it in but I wasn’t carrying that around with me – I wasn’t taking any chances.
“I wouldn’t like to hazard a guess as to how much it might be worth – certainly more than the £2.99 we paid.”
e-Bay says that it will be investigating the incident as a matter of urgency and will take action against the seller to suspend further sales.
