Three teenagers stabbed a shopworker in the face, after he questioned their age when they tried to buy cigarettes.
The 44-year-old shopkeeper was working at his central London newsagents, when three teenagers came in.
The group walked into Station Food & Wine, Paddington, and asked to buy drinks and cigarettes.
But the salesman was not sure the boys were old enough and questioned their ages.
At this point the angry yobs attacked the salesman, leaving him with a stab wound to the left side of his face.
The thugs went on to smash a bottle over another shopworker’s head.
The 21-year-old suffered a cut to his face.
CCTV of the three suspects shows one of average build, with short black hair.
He was wearing a grey hooded top black trousers and black shoes.
Another, who had a slim build and short black hair, was wearing similar clothes.
The third suspect had a slim build and was wearing a black top.
Police are keen to hear from anything who know anything more about the incident, which took place on July 7.
PC Richard Kidd, from Westminster CID, said: “Both of the victims in this attack are very fortunate not to have suffered a fatal injury as a result of this attack.”
