A forty-year-old posted intimate videos of his young ex-girlfriend in a revenge porn attack – including sending some to her DAD, a court heard.
Alex Hughes refused to accept his relationship with the student was over and put the intimate recordings – which he taped without her knowledge – on social media, it was said.
The University of West of England student met her ex-lover on a foreign trip and formed a secret relationship with him because she was unsure about the age gap.
But when she later tried to end the relationship, Hughes began an onslaught of revenge porn attacks, a court heard.
Hughes stalked his victim by sending her father letters containing digital memory cards, which had intimate audio recordings and pictures saved on, it is said.
Unaware that she had been taped, the student has been left traumatised after Hughes posted intimate audio recordings and photos of her online.

Hughes bombarded the student with emails and sent her threatening messages online, as well as trying to contact her through several Instagram accounts, Bristol Crown Court heard.
It was also claimed he phoned and visited the student’s family home and tried to contact her friends through Facebook.
The student, who cannot be named, told Bristol Crown Court: “I didn’t know the recordings had been made. It was horrible.”
She told the jury: “I was horrified, I would break down and cry. There were pictures of me and him.
“There was also audio – a couple of conversations but the majority was of me and him having sex.
“I hated the idea he was putting it out there so that anyone could click on it and anyone could hear it.”
Hughes, of Liverpool, denies any intention of causing the then teenager stress by disclosing private sexual photographs without consent.
The trial continues at Bristol Crown Court.
