A three-legged puppy given up by her previous owners because of her disability has been found a new home just in time for Christmas. See SWNS story SWMDdog. Roo the whippet was born with one front leg and was taken into the care of an animal charity when her owners didnt have time to care for her. She was placed into foster care at the Blue Cross aged two months old so she could adapt to a home environment. Roo was put up for adoption and has now found a forever home with Amanda and Steve Hofford, from Basingstoke, Hamps. Having lost their beloved basset hound Mabel just after last Christmas, the couple say Roo has helped them fill the void in their lives.
