These adorable photos show a Golden Retriever mother-of-ten surrounded by her brood at puppy pre-school – after her owner gave each of the dogs to one of her friends.
Owner Charlotte Bastedo, 57, decided to keep the new arrivals close when Tuesday, three, fell pregnant earlier this year.
Instead of housing them with strangers, the dog lover asked her pals whether they were looking for a puppy – and the answer was yes.
“I had so many friends of mine that wanted puppies. She could have had 20 puppies and they all would have gone to friends,” Charlotte said.
When Tuesday gave birth in March, all the puppies bar one, Timmy, were gradually distributed among Charlotte’s friends in the local area.
Now the family meet up every week for puppy pre-school, where the five-month-old siblings take classes to turn them into well-behaved dogs.
Cute photos show Tuesday surrounded by her babies at the classes at Zoom Room in Huntington Beach, California, USA.
Receptionist Charlotte, who lives with her husband Bill, 59, in Huntington, California, said: “They just go crazy when they see Tuesday.
“They wag their tails a million miles an hour and go at her. They know she’s their mom.
“You can tell they are from the same family. They all look like Tuesday.”
The classes teach them how to socialize with other dogs, as well as basic commands to enhance their discipline.
And they also give the siblings an opportunity to spend much-needed time with their mom.
Head trainer Blane Dydasco, 36,said: “We are super happy to have all ten puppies training with us. It’s never happened before.”
