Police were shocked when they went to investigate a road collision – and found a car so full of RUBBISH that the driver had not been able to find the handbrake.
Almost every inch of the filthy car was covered with carrier bags full of rubbish, loose piles of paper in the footwells, cigarette butts on the seats, potted plants and drinks glasses.
A walking stick can be seen lodged into the driver’s footwell, a fan is balanced precariously in the back of the car, and what appears to be a lampshade is covering the handbrake.
Hampshire Roads Police discovered the state of the car yesterday (Thurs) when they went to investigate a crash.
They found that the car had been so full of rubbish that the driver had not been able to find the handbrake to stop the car from rolling back into a parked car behind.
The roads police unit Tweeted two photos of the car yesterday morning, writing: “Boris Johnson’s car is a dream compared to this one.
“Driver couldn’t get the hand brake on and rolled back into a parked vehicle. I wonder why?”
Details of where the incident happened, the driver or what type of car was involved have not been revealed.
Officers have also not said whether the driver will face prosecution.
