This heartwarming video shows a young girl with Down syndrome spreading some joy – by belting out an inspirational tune.
Keeley Thomas, 13, was singing ‘Tomorrow’ from the musical ‘Annie’ to herself when her family heard her – and decided to record.
The teenager then took it from the top and produced the touching video.
Mum Lindy Thomas, 56, posted the footage on Facebook in a bid to bring some cheer.
Keeley also filmed the clip in aid of World Down Syndrome Awareness Day, which took place last month.
The hit showtune – first released in 1977 – takes an optimistic view of life.
Lindy said: “Keeley sings all the time – she loves musicals and sings constantly.
“She was singing ‘Tomorrow’ and I said: ‘That was a lovely song. People might like to hear that’.
“She said: ‘Okay’ so I recorded it.
“She’s a happy thing – she likes to make people smile. She’s done a lot for charity in the part, like having her hair cut.”
Keeley lives in Fowlmere near Cambridge, Cambs.
