A heartbreaking video has gone viral after a terminally ill mum gets to find out the sex of her daughter’s baby just days before she passed away.
Taylor Masilotti, from Westminster, Colorado was 19 weeks pregnant when she planned on going to her scan to find whether she will have a baby boy or a girl.
She was really enthusiastic to share the experience with her mother, Donna Callender.
But when Donna fell ill, diagnosed with stage four brain and lungs cancer she found herself unable to attend the big moment in her daughter’s life.
Heartbroken, Taylor refused to have the scan made without her mother. She instead decided to bring the ultrasound to her mum‘s bed.
The heartwarming video shows Donna and Taylor crying with joy while looking at the images.
After finding she will have a baby girl, Donna slowly cradles her daughter cheek, while Taylor tries to hold back her tears.
Sadly, Donna died just three days after the happy experience.
On a post on Facebook, Taylor said:
“Wednesday afternoon was one of my forever favorite memories I got to share with my mom.”
” I can’t thank the hospital enough for allowing this to happen. For allowing me to create my last memory with my mom !”
