Being a mum is no easy task. But having to create memories to last a life time in just a few years is something only motherly love can achieve.
Six-year-old Cailee Herrell from Phoenix, Arizona, was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease at just two-years-old.
In order to make sure her daughter has an imagination full of colour, Catrina decided to ensure that Caliee lived every day to the fullest in case she completely loses her sight.

Cailee’s disease is a hereditary condition that can cause progressive vision loss.
The disorder prevents blood vessels from forming at the edges of the retina, which reduces the blood supply to this tissue.
In order to be able to tick everything on the bucket list, loving mother Catrina posted an emotional message on GoFundMe.
Their goal was to raise $10,000 but they had a pleasant surprise when the fund exceeded the initial amount.
The adventures started with Cailee going to Sea World and experiencing the beach for the first time.
She then went to Disney Land where she met her favourite princess, Belle, wearing the iconic yellow dress herself, after her grandmother made her one especially for the occasion.

Cailee has just started school but her adventures will not stop.
Her mum is planning a trip to the local firehouse, a journey to New Mexico where she would love Cailee to get to be part of a six-man crew on a hot air balloon and a camping trip in California where she can see majestic Redwood trees for the first time.
Catrina created a Facebook page where the adventures of little Cailee can be followed and donations can be made.
