An overweight mum managed to drop an impressive eight dress sizes in time for her wedding by walking the distance from London to Rome – taking 10,000 steps every DAY.
Emma Robinson, 34, once tipped the scales at almost 20 stone after years of gorging on three cheeseburgers at a time.
But after being too ashamed to try on wedding dresses eight months before her big day, mum-of-two Emma decided to lose some weight by swapping chips for trips and walking 10,000 steps every day.
Now Emma, who tied the knot to partner Matt last month, managed to walk an impressive 1,200 miles, and shed a huge six-and-a-half stone and eight dress sizes before she walked a few more steps, down the aisle.

Emma, who at her biggest was a hefty size 22, said: “Before I lost the weight I hated walking – I was happiest sitting down and scoffing.
“But when my weight robbed me of the fun of dress-shopping, I knew I had to change.
“I was terrified of fad diets, but people were always telling me the simplest way to lose weight is to eat less and move more – so I invested in a pedometer to keep track of my steps.
“Once I started walking more the weight melted away – and I’d even spend lunch breaks walking round the office building to rack up steps and hit my daily target.”
The big-eater said she was “happiest when sitting down and scoffing – I hated walking.”
By December 2014, her daily diet was four slices of peanut butter on toast for breakfast, a flapjack and a packet of crisps mid-morning, a cheese toastie with crisps and chocolate bar at lunch.
Dinner would be a large takeaway Domino’s pizza with a big bag of chocolate buttons – totalling a whopping 4,500 calories every day.
She said she “didn’t want to face up to” her obesity and was devastated to miss out on the rite of passage.

Training manager Emma was kicked up the backside after seeing Katie Hopkins’ show ‘My Fat Story’ where the loudmouth commentator gained and lost four stone to prove fat people are simply lazy.
Determined Emma then bought a pedometer and walked 10,000 steps everyday to shed six stone in eight months.
The mum even bought a size 16 wedding dress to inspire her to stay motivated.
Emma, who’s mum to Ben, 17, and Alex, eight, walked up to five miles per day over the next eight months – totalling 1,200 miles.
Emma, who lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, hit her target weight of 12 stone 12lbs in August and a dress size 14 and finally plucked up the courage to have the dress adjusted at a bridal shop.
Last month, Emma took a few more steps – to walk down the aisle and marry Matt.
The blushing bride added: “After walking to lose all that weight, it was great to do the most important walk on my life – walking down the aisle – feeling amazing about myself.”
