A shop worker has ended up in court accused of giving his boss VIAGRA as part of an April Fool’s Day prank, a court heard.
Benjamin Chope, 24, is charged with supplying the sex drug to manager Daniel Webber in an intended joke that is said to have backfired.
No details of the impact on the alleged victim over the incident were given to the court.

But Chope, of Kingsteignton, Devon, stood in the dock where he was charged with unlawfully and maliciously administering to Mr Webber a poison or other destructive or noxious substance.
The court heard that the alleged offence was committed while Chop was at work at a Home Bargains store in Newton Abbot on April 1.
The substance, identified as Viagra, was administered with intent to injure, aggrieve or annoy Mr Webber, the court heard.
Chope appeared at Torquay Magistrates Court last Thursday and entered no plea.

He only spoke to give his name, address and date of birth.
The court decided the matter was serious enough to go to the Crown Court for hearing.
Chope was ordered to appear at Exeter Crown on August 25 and was released on conditional bail.
