A fitness-loving mother scooped a world body-building title – just MONTHS after getting into the sport.
Mum-of-two Charlene Harvey, 36, was a long distance runner and more a fan of cardio than pumping iron.
She was then left “absolutely gutted” when she had to quit because of an injury.
After having a couple of children she hit her gym again and was spurred on to enter a bodybuilding contest by a fellow training partner.
Charlene, of Malmesbury, Wiltshire, has now taken part in the Pure Elite World Finals in Margate and won the Muscle Model open World Champion trophy.

She flexed her muscles against competitors from all over the world – including Nigeria, United Arab Emirates and the States.
Charlene said: ”I didn’t fancy it at first. All that prancing about on stage just wasn’t me. But I finally decided to give it a go.
“I couldn’t believe it when my name was read out as the winner. I was absolutely stunned.”
Now Charlene will juggle bringing up her two children, Louis, 11 and Lilli, 10, with a vigorous training programme.
“I’m going to see how far I can go with it,” she said.
