Children in hospital were visited by a squad of superheroes who abseiled down the side of the building. See SWNS story SWSCheroes. Batman, Thanos, Spiderman and the Joker descended from the top of the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Edinburgh - stopping in the middle for a superhero versus villains 'fight' halfway down. Young patients of the hospital looked on from the ward windows and the ground on Wednesday, December 15. The stunt was organised by Edinburgh Rope Access in aid of Edinburgh Childrens Hospital Charity (EDHC) and raised £531. Nicky Erskine, managing director of Edinburgh Rope Access, called the hospital patients the real superheroes.
