Two women believe they smashed a world record last week after running a marathon a day for 106 consecutive days.Fay Cunningham, 36, and 26-year-old partner Emma Petrie, hit the road this winter, powering through their first 26.2 miles on February 19.They discarded their trackies 106 days and 2,777 miles later after finishing their final marathon on Saturday June 4.The women burned out seven pairs of shoes each as they pounded the tarmac and trails around their home in Aboyne Aberdeenshire, running a full 26.2 miles every day.
