Max Woosey in his new sleeping bag. See SWNS story SWPLbag. Young boy living in a tent in his garden since March for charity has been donated a sleeping bag - belonging to a soldier who died in Afghanistan. Max Woosey, 10, was inspired after his friend and neighbour, Rick, gave him a tent shortly before he died in February 2019. Rick, who was 74, told Max to have an adventure with it, so he decided to camp out in the garden of his family home in Braunton, Devon. And now Max has been given a sleeping bag by Lisa Snow, which once belonged to her son, Joe Berry, who sadly died in Afghanistan while serving in the military.
