Fast food fan Kyle Stockton was treated to his favourite KFC takeaway for his birthday – made out of cake.

Wife Laura crafted the life-size bargain bucket, complete with sides and ketchup, for a sweet surprise.
Warehouse worker Kyle had tucked into one of the real meals for lunch at work on his 28th birthday.
And he saw double when he returned home that evening to be presented with Laura’s replica which had taken her four hours to make.
Laura said: “The actual cake is the bucket, the drumsticks and chicken pieces were sat on top and were made out Rice Krispies, cornflakes and marshmallows, as was the popcorn chicken.
“The fries, sweetcorn and beans were made out of icing and a friend of mine printed the KFC logo on edible icing sheets.
“To finish it off, I used an airbrush to spray colouring on it in the right places.
“I didn’t know how it would look, but I was very pleased in the end.
“Kyle took some into work and his colleagues didn’t believe it could be real cake. I had to force him to cut it.”
Kyle – dad to sons Josh, eight and Harry, five, said: “It was very amusing. I was gobsmacked when she brought it out on my birthday.
“I went and got a KFC bucket for lunch and my boys were laughing and I didn’t know why.
“And then when she brought out the cake I clocked what was happening.”
Laura, who has no formal training, is now launching her own Occasionally Yours baking business from her home in Leigh, Surrey.
