A young woman met the love of her life and future husband on a dating app – on her last SWIPE.
Gabriella Prince-Gabb is now happily married to Daniel Kaszonyi after a whirlwind romance when the pair were matched on her last ever pick on dating app Badoo.
Brunette stunner Gabriella, 24, a digital designer, was matched with handsome tattoo artist Daniel, 32, just as she was closing down the app on her phone so she could delete it.
But she decided to give him a shot and fell in love with the tattooed bad-boy – and the pair tied the knot just 17 months later.
Gabriella, from Crouch End, North London, said: “People called us crazy, friends said it would never last, but they were jealous I had found it.
“It didn’t happen too fast, it just happened and it’s been amazing.
“Dating apps get such a bad name, but we are proof that happiness can sometimes be found with the right swipe.
“I couldn’t be app’ier.”
Daniel added: “We are so happy, I knew she was the one as soon as I met her.”
The happy couple met in September 2013, just before Gabriella, who had been single for one year, was ready to give up on dating apps.
However, when Daniel, who had been single for six months and worked ten minutes away, started messaging her, everything changed.
She said: “I was about to delete the app when Daniel popped up. He made me smile and we couldn’t stop chatting, we just got on.
“My friends told me it wouldn’t last and my family were cautious at first.”
“It was odd, we just felt inseparable. Like soul mates.”
The pair tied the knot this February and in September, they had their main wedding celebration in Budapest along with 40 close family and friends.
Gabriella wore a white dress and a huge smile.
She said: “It really was the best day of my life. This whole relationship has been a rollercoaster and I have no intention of getting off.
“We are as happy now as the moment we first met.
“I was ready to give up on that app. Then Daniel messaged.”
