A woman was bombarded with 500 messages a day from a celebrity stalker – who was convicted for terrorising Atomic Kitten star Liz McClarnon.

Pretty Mary Nesbitt-Larking, 22, says her life was also wrecked by warped 35-year-old Robin Duke, who bombarded her with abusive texts, calls and messages and even sent her sick sex images of kids – after they became friends on a social networking site.
Mary, from Hertford, Herts., first encountered Irishman Duke, from Lurgan, Co Armagh, in 2009, but things quickly escalated out of control.
She said he demanded constant attention from her and threatened to kill himself if she didn’t reply.
He waged war on her for three years before Mary finally persuaded him to stop.
Duke, who also terrorised pop singer Liz McClarnon and sent her rape threats over Twitter, pleaded guilty to six charges of harassment at Craigavon Crown Court relating to Mary, Liz and four other women in January 2013.
He was sentenced to three years’ probation and slapped with a community sex offences programme.

The terrified victims also had lifelong restraining orders put in place to protect them.
She said: “That man ruined my life. He seemed so nice at first but became so vulgar.
“I’m disgusted he didn’t get a prison sentence for what he did to me and his other victims, I’m terrified knowing he is still out there. He could resurface at any time.”
Duke added 16-year-old Mary on social networking site Bebo, and she initially thought he seemed like a “nice guy” so agreed to meet in person.
The pair met in June 2010, when Duke was living in England, and Mary introduced him to her mum Carrie, 48, a former nurse.
Mary said: “Although he was a bit odd in person, he seemed harmless.
“I felt a bit sorry for him because he didn’t have many friends, so I carried on speaking to him online.”
Over the course of a year, they met just three times but Mary tells how Duke quickly became obsessed with her.
When Duke started to text and call her hundreds of times a day, Mary tried to end the friendship.

She said: “His messages became more aggressive and he quickly turned from caring to possessive and paranoid.
“It got to a point where he was sending me 500 messages everyday over Facebook and other social networking sites. The content of the messages became scarier and it was so upsetting.
“If I didn’t reply to him within five minutes, he’d threaten to kill himself.”
“He constantly called me a ‘bitch’ and a ‘disgusting human being’.”
“I couldn’t believe the man who had been my friend was treating me like that.”
Mary added: “I’ve been afraid to leave the house and would lay in bed at night, scared to sleep in case he turned up at my house.
“My trust has been completely shattered and every time a notification pops up on my phone, I shiver thinking it could be him.
“I’ve even had to see a psychiatrist to help me cope. My life will never be the same again.”
