Jake Skinner, 11, spent weeks decorating his home with Christmas lights in aid of cancer charity MacMillan. See SWNS story SWBRxmas - Boy covers his house in festive lights in honour of sister who died on Christmas Day. An 11-year-old boy from Bristol has covered the entire outside of his house in decorations in memory of his sister who died on Christmas day. Jake Skinner, from Staple Hill, lost his sister three-years-ago and has put up lights that belonged to her, in order to honour her memory. The schoolboy, who attends Mangotsfield school, has single handedly taken on this task for a charity, without any help from his parents. Every year his sister Stacie Skinner decorated her desk in Christmas lights where she worked at Co-op legal services. When she sadly died aged 17 of an anaphylactic shock, on Christmas day in 2015, the lights were kindly returned to the family.
