Isaac Winfield, 11, from Redditch, has set up his own Foodbank at his home. See SWNS story SWLNfoodbank. A kind-hearted 11-year-old schoolboy used his own birthday money to launch a foodbank service - from his garden SHED. Isaac Winfield, 11, who suffers from a rare chromosome disorder has asked his mum to donate to his foodbank for his birthday present this year after he set it up back in December 2020. The schoolboy from Redditch, Worcs., became determined to help those in need after learning his school weren’t offering foodbank services in lockdown. Isaac set up Friend’s of Isaac’s Food Bank in December 2020 using a greenhouse to store food before growing rapidly and is now operating out of a shed at his family home. Along with his mum Claire, he plans to open another foodbank site in Redditch while Morrison’s and local charity Building Bridges are sponsoring him.
