Little Katie Fleming, eight, from Dundee, Scotland, was moved after seeing children on the news who were fleeing their homes in Ukraine with hardly any belongings. The sweet schoolgirl decided she would gather colouring books, pencils, activity books and cards to send to Poland in the hope of bringing some joy to the child refugees. In just one week, kind Katie gathered 371 items thanks to the generosity of her family, friends, school and local community and sent her collection off to Poland on Wednesday [9] afternoon.
