A lorry driver was left red-faced after he was locked out of his vehicle – by his DOGS.
Two mischievous pooches excitedly jumped on the ‘lock’ button while the key was still inside.
Bemused mechanic Martin Lock, who was working at Western Truck Rental, was given the unusual task of setting them free when a customer’s cab.
Martin spent around 15 minutes using specialist tools to unlock the door before the cheeky mutts were reunited with their embarrassed owner in Barnstaple, Devon.
Martin, 28, of Cullompton, said: “You couldn’t make it up. It was unbelievable really.
“I tried to use rods to slide through and open the door but the dogs were having a great time and kept playing with them.
“In the end I had to get someone to go round the other side and distract the dogs while I used an inflating bag and a rod to get in.
“We got in eventually and the customer was on his way.”
