A mum has told how she’s still terrified of the jailed man who murdered her daughter before stuffing her in a suitcase and buried her in a shallow grave.
Pregnant Jayden Parkinson, 17, went missing after going to talk to her ex-boyfriend, Ben Blakeley, then 22, and tell he was the father of her unborn baby.
The violent thug throttled her after accusing her of cheating, and hid her body, returning a few days later to stuff her in a suitcase.
Liar Ben took a taxi to a cemetery – telling the cabbie “all his worldly goods” were in the heavy bag – and buried her in his uncle’s grave.
The former binman was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in jail, serving a minimum of 20-years.
Jayden’s grieving mum Samantha Shrewsbury, 53, told podcast Real Fix how she feared Ben would kill her – not her daughter – and how she’s still terrified of him.
Speaking on an episode of the podcast, which features real people telling their own extraordinary stories in their own words, she said: “Jayden’s death has broken everybody in this family.
“Nobody understands what it’s like to go through something like this unless it has happened to you.
“I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy, because some of the things we’ve heard and we’ve seen can never be forgotten.
“They’re the sort of horrific things that will haunt a family forever.
“This is our seventh year since Jayden was killed and I’m absolutely terrified he is going to come out.
“I’m more scared of that man than anything in this world, because I have grandkids and that’s what terrifies me the most.”
Jayden had attempted to leave the toxic relationship with her violent boyfriend a month before she was murdered.
However, shortly after she was forced to make contact again after finding out she was pregnant with his child.
The two arranged to meet up at Didcot train station in Oxfordshire, and that was the last place Jayden was ever seen alive.
That evening on December 3, 2013, Ben choked her to death in a field where the two used to smoke and drink.
He returned a few days later to stuffed her body into a suitcase he borrowed from his grandmother, and called a taxi to take him to the local cemetery, where he buried her.
Ben was caught two weeks later after a helicopter search found the dug up soil.
In July 2014 he was found guilty of the murder, and will be behind bars for at least 20 years.
Jayden’s mother Samantha believes the sentence is far too soft and is dreading the thought of Blakely being out of prison.
Samantha said: “Jayden’s death has broken everybody in this family.”

“When they were together he used her niece and nephew against her by threatening to hurt them.
“He then did the same with me one Christmas saying if she didn’t behave how he wanted her to he’d turn off my life support.
“For ages we thought it would be me who he would try to kill, and I got so paranoid at one point I went to my housing officer for help.
“I asked them to promise if anything happened to me they’d give Ben Blakely’s name to the Police a long with a record of our conversation.
“But it was Jayden that he killed, not me, and I am so scared that one day he’ll be released and come back to haunt me and my family.”
